Our Goals....
To present the Gospel of Christ with music that leads our people to worship Him with all their heart, soul and mind. To enhance the preaching services with a blended worship of hymns and praise songs that will allow the Holy Spirit to speak to our hearts.
The Music Ministry at First Baptist has a Five Fold Goal....
- To Exalt God
(Psalms 150) - To Enrich Self
(Ephesians 5:8,19) - Edify Believers
(Colossians 3:16) - Evangelize Unsaved
(Psalms 40:3) - Enlist Uninvolved
Music Ministry Purpose:
To make every choir member realize that they have a vital place in serving God in the local church which develops ones attributes of Spirituality, Musicianship and Sociability of unity in the body of Christ. To understand that being a choir member is a privileged ministry that requires responsibility and accountability where everyone blends their own talents and personalities to provide inspirational and worshipful music in our services
WHAT WE DO.......
The Alleluia Choir Provides special choral music during our morning worship service. Prepare and perform special events on Patriotic Days such as Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and 4th of July. During December, our choir prepares a Christmas Musical Drama program involving a theatrical atmosphere in presenting the Gospel of Christ that is performed two nights as an outreach tool in our Community in Beebe. In the spring the Choir performs an Easter Musical to celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Throughout the year our choir plans outings and fellowship parties to develop unity and just to have fun
